iSeries Rush 1
After an amazing weekend of action packed racing, iSeries Rush 1 is over, and the worlds first Live Rotor Rush simulator competition has crowned its winner.
The weekend saw pupils from Boswell School compete against professional gamers live on the Rotor Rush simulator with the winner receiving a pair of Vuzix iWear goggles. After a hard battle Jack ‘Denby’ Smith, one of the professional gamers, won the event and was awarded the sought after prize. In the true spirit of the Rotor Rush community Jack then donated the Vuzix goggles to the children from Boswell School.
The event really showed the amazing work that the Rotor Rush academy is doing and how great the community spirit is. The pupils and teachers had an unforgettable time at the UKDS arena and are sure to return again.
A huge think you goes out to everyone involved, with a special mention to Gary “JusticeFPV” Kent and Matthew “Add1ct3dd” Evans, who took time out of their day to spend time with the pupils and answer their questions. Helping the next generation of pilots and nurturing their interest in drones, technology and all the skills involved with being a responsible drone pilot.
