Congratulations to Justin Carpenter from the USA for winning the New Members Time Trial Dec 2018 event: JUSTIN CARPENTER My name is Justin Carpenter, my twin brother Jake (you all know him as carp) has been teaching me how to build, fly, and crash since November of '18. As of now I fly a brushed and brushless whoop, but plan on building a 5 for the racing season this summer.

Congrats to FPRdan1 for winning the Rotor Rush X Class Winter Challenge! The racing was intense and a lot of fun to watch, with plenty of back and forth action and photo finishes literally down to the millisecond, plus some great commentary by drone race announcing pro Nigel Tomlinson from Rotor Rush and X Class's own Nathan DuCray. All of our competitors in today's finals will be receiving an X Class t-shirt, plus a Kickass Beef Jerky and LIQUID NITRO ENERGY DRINK prize pack courtesy of our great friends at Quality Freight Rate.com! FPRdan1 will also be receiving $125 US for his first place finish. Big congrats as to Rcfly3r1 who took second and will be receiving $50 and to Zed-DRTC who rounded out the podium in third and will be receiving $25 in addition to their other prizes. Thanks again to the Rotor Rush team for making this all possible! This was the first ever X Class eSports competition and we were still working out the kinks, but everyone had a lot of fun and there will definitely be lots more to come, likely starting with the X Class City track next month. Don't miss it!

The snow has fallen in the Colorado mountains and we've been out setting up a track in this festive virtual location for your holiday esports. Get into the festive mood, practice and take part in the 'Winter Whooperland 2018' time trial competition hosted by Jesse Perkins. You have until the 5th Jan 2019 to put your best time on the leaderboard when the winner will be announced. Prizes will include Whoop spares to keep you whooping into 2019.

Drone Sports Canada and Rotor Rush are excited to announce the release of Track D (DSC001) the first of 3 that will make up the first Canadian E-Sports Championships that will conclude with the Top 3 fastest pilots forming the DSC E-Sports Team. The team will compete against other international rotor rush teams in the 2018 world E-sports championships.

This great location has tons of opportunity to go exploring, show off your micro freestyling or go racing down the subway and up under the roof on the fast flowing whoop track. While exploring the nooks and crannies of this detailed location keep an eye out for the 18 ‘Big Whoop’ stickers !

Over the week-end 23rd–25th February the MDP 2018 Mollerussa non-stop 48hr Drone Party took place hosting more than 150 pilots in one of the most important events in Spain. In collaboration with DDC Spain Rotor Rush provided pilots with an e-Sport replica of the real MDP2018 track with two events for pro-pilots and the public.The MDP2018 track is now available for you to download and fly.
Rotor Rush V5.4 WIN OS Update 08-Mar-2018   Ray Smith
You can now install your tracks and register for events within the sim ! To complete this update and use the new track installation method you will need to uninstall the tracks you currently have installed. The quickest way to do this is to right click on the windows icon at the bottom left of your screen and select ‘Apps & Features’. Then scroll down the apps list to the Track Packs, right click on each in turn and select ‘uninstall’. When complete start Rotor Rush, select ‘Tracks’ and then install the tracks you want to fly.
